The MIRODUR plant was then constructed in Pomezia and here the company started producing a wider assortment of paint until it successfully decided to specialize in producing paints for the engineering industry, which was living a real economic boom in those years. This strategic choice, apart from improving product and service, determined a constant increase of both customers and turnover. This success was consolidated in 1982 with the construction of the second plant in Aprilia having triple the area, equipped laboratories and extremely sophisticated instruments to control the quality of both the incoming raw material and the outgoing finished product, as provided by ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certificate regulations. The paint is produced with the most advanced technologies and is managed by highly qualified staff. Customised software enables the management of the various stages of formulation, labeling and technical and security specifications of each product, guaranteeing Mirodur paint consumers the quality and continuity of punctual supplies.
Today, Mirodur's production, is specialized also in specific sectors such as internal coating of pipelines for the flow of fluids like gas and potable water and also for the external coating of burried tanks.
