A paint user's main objective is to present the best esthetical version of his items, giving them the resistance required for their use while keeping costs low. Mirodur's duty is to make sure these objectives are reached. Mirodur provides its clientele with the experience and expertise of its technical and commercial staff. These consult the wide range of Mirodur products to advise customers on the best way of preparing the surface they have to paint, using the most adequate painting cycle according to the type of material that needs to be treated and choosing the best solution for the paint's application (immersion, spray with airless, electrostatic, rolling needle, roll or brush plants) and the best drying process.
MIROSINT AS
HIGH SOLID alkyd paint with a very low environmental impact. Characterised by a high dry residue (> 70%), incredibly rapid drying process, adherence to raw plate and resistance to water drops. It was created for application with airless plant, endowed with a pre-heater at 60°C, without the addition of thinner. It is also available with an anti-rust version.
MIROZINC
Inorganic galvanizing primer based on ethyl silicate and a high percentage of metallic zinc. Officially approved according to ENEL DCO (National Electrical Board) homologation specifications. It can be used in workshops and building yards. It can be coated even after a long period of time. Its formula allows application with an automatic machine without clogging up the nozzles and applying up to a thickness of over 120 µ without leaving any drops or cracks on the surface.
POLIACRIL
Bicomponent acrylic finish of medium-high thickness. Endowed with an exceptional direct adherence to raw, galvanised plates, stainless steel, light alloys and plastic. It is characterised by an exceptional stability to light, to turning yellow and resistance to scratches.
POLIDUR
Bicomponent polyurethane finish of medium-high thickness, characterised by stability to light, to turning yellow and resistance to scratches. Excellent anchorage to Mirosint and Epomir bases (see above). Also available in the ANTIGRAFFITI version. Of particular significance is the Polidur IR version for masking, officially approved by the Ministry of Defence according to E/PV 1525 B specification. Produced in green, brown and black for camouflaging military vehicles and equipment.
POLILUX
Bicomponent polyurethane finish of very high quality, endowed with a particular gloss. Excellent stability to light, to turning yellow and resistance to scratches. To be applied on Mirosint or Epomir bases (see above). Its particular formula, with a 1:1 volume catalysis, facilitates its application and makes it adequate for painting large surfaces, even vertical ones, without problems of pounce opacification, thus obtaining particularly beautiful finishes.
PRIMER MONOCOMPONENTE
Monocomponent polyvinylbutyrate primer with zinc phosphates. Excellent anchorage to raw and galvanised plates, stainless steel and light alloys. Its extremely rapid drying process (maximum 10 mins) enables painted pieces to be easily moved and stacked. It has a very high performance and a medium lasting protection against corrosion.
SINTODUR
Synthetic paints suitable for application with brush and rollers, with a high dry residue. Characterised by an excellent adherence and gloss. The SINTODUR AR AL FOSFATO DI ZINCO (with zinc phosphate) version guarantees an effective protection against corrosion.
TERMODUR
Thermosetting finish that can be dried in the furnace (120° - 140°C for 30' - 20'). Endowed with an excellent direct anchorage to raw plate and resistance to scratches. It was designed to be applied on electrostatic plants.
TERMODUR AS
SAaynthetic HIGH SOLID finish that can be dried in the furnace (130-140°C for 30'). Characterised by an excellent adherence to raw plate and resistance to scratches. It was designed to be applied with an airless plant endowed with preheater at 60°C without adding diluent for a reduced environmental impact.
